Today's run was nice!  I went on a bit of a new route and added some hills in the run.  It was a nice country run and I enjoyed the scenery.  I even ran across some cyclists on the way and a small country military funeral.  I did not listen to music on the run.  I didn't know how the network signal would be and I didn't want to drain the battery of my phone.  It was quiet and peaceful.

After my run I took the kids out on a three mile hike.  I had to carry my daughter the entire way and got quite an upper body core workout during that.  It would have been much more enjoyable if we would have gotten to the trail sooner.  We ran out of daylight quickly.  

This coming week has quite a few more miles in it.  I better get to sleep and put more focus overall on my sleep.  Diet is a focus now as well!  The holidays are over and I just have to get to a better running weight.
