Day 27

Today was supposed to be 11 miles.  But I rested.


I will make it up.  And I will be fine.

I read in my Marathon book that it can be honestly more damaging for you to feel deep down you need a rest day and not take it than to push yourself and go and then crash even harder later.

I am an endurance runner and have been for years now.  Even if it was 11 miles - I know I will be okay.  I can run 11 miles with no problem.

Today was a fantastic rest day!!  And at the end of the day I am extremely glad that I took it.  I did a great cross training workout in though.  I just wasn't feeling a run.

This weekend was the best weekend ever!
