I did push ups, shoulder sets, burpees, mountain climbers and jumped a lot of rope in order to burn 425 calories.
I knew for awhile that I needed to start tracking my food and fluid intake again. And to remain on point with this, I plan on posting it here. I may not get this done everyday, but I want to post enough to get a really good viewpoint at this time of what I am eating. Because something is off in the kitchen for me to be holding on to this extra 10 pounds and I need to focus and get it off. I know how to do it and I can eat very healthy when I put my mind to it.
I have also decided that all days that I am running less than 10 miles that I will cross train. For a goal of burning approximately 600-1000 calories a day. I will do my best not to cheat, but I am also not going to turn myself in to a drill sergeant for myself either. I have to figure out how to enjoy my coffee without so much sugar/creamer. Each day I am putting about 200 calories in to my coffee. I love my coffee but perhaps what I am loving is the sugar/creamer. I will evaluate this and see if I can or ultimately want to change. I also had morning sausage again yesterday and while that is delicious, it does nothing positive for my running or my body.
I am reading Racing Weight and am excited to refresh my mind and learn new things. Over the last six months I had brought butter, reeses peanut butter cups, chips with melted cheese and the list goes on and on, back in to my life. I plan on removing them again. If you are a runner and have any food tips please feel free to post them! I love to hear.

Amber - it is not healthy to try and burn 600 -1000 calories a day if you are only consuming 1,700 calories. There is no way that your body can repair itself when you stress it to that extend and do not nourish it and allow it time and nutrients to heal.
ReplyDeleteTry coconut oil (a HEALTHY fat) in your coffee and maybe some stevia if you need the sweet.
And incorporate some veggies in your breakfast. I know - who wants broccoli for breakfast but.... Make a big breakfast bake on sunday and just heat and go the rest of the week. I did one this past week with sausage, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, spinach and eggs. Very clean (no dairy) and yummy. Even Noah eats it and loves it.
